Compelled to chronicle the world around her, Lisa Agosti paints with the heart of a poet. Her mixed media paintings bear witness to a time, person or passing glimmer of light. Lisa paints landscape, figure and abstract working color and texture into each piece. Her work blends traditional subject matter with modern design sensibilities. Though often free of narrative, her work is grounded in the present day as a contemporary interpretation of landscape and figure painting. 

The draftsmanship in her work is born of a the classical training she received early on when she apprenticed under artist, Joseph Mack at the Huntington School of Fine Arts. She continued her art education at NYU where she earned her BFA in Art and Aesthetics from the Gallatin School of Individualized study. She studied the ancient art of Buon Fresco at the Fresco School in Los Angeles.

Lisa has extensive experience in the fine and decorative arts.  Working both individually and as part of a team, she has been involved in projects that vary greatly in their scope and focus. She has been commissioned to create large-scale pieces as well as collections for both private and public areas.  Collectors, nationally and internationally, appreciate the color, mood and elegance of her work.
